Governor Babatunde Fashola has called on all Nigerians to be vigilant. He made this call while addressing a procession of peaceful protesters at his Ikeja office in Lagos South west Nigeria on Monday, March 3, 2014.
The procession had professionals from diverse fields who came together to openly condemn the spate of terrorism activities taking place in the northern part of the country particularly in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.

The governor who invited the team into his conference center commended the effort and promised to pass their message to the president in the shortest time possible. Fashola admonished Nigerians to provide information that could lead to stopping the Boko Haram menace in the land. He said "If you see something, say something".
Mr Wole Solanke, lawyer and commentator called on all the chief security officers of the 36 states (governors) to call on the commander in chief; the President) to give the military all the required power to take on the faceless boko haram and push them out of Nigeria. Others who addressed the governor at the event include Mrs Helen Essien, a lawyer who told the governor that as a parent, this call to duty should be hearkened to by all noting that she was also a product of a Unity school, Queens College.
The group among other demands asked the governor to inform the president to introduce a reward scheme for those that provide information as to the whereabouts of the members of Boko Haram.
