BOKO HARAM: Village Wiped Out By Terrorist Group

Despite more calls from various quarters on the federal government to put much more effort into its fighting mechanism against the terrorist group Boko Haram, the group has struck again. This time, on Wednesday 4th of March 2014 invaded, it invaded Jakana village some 23 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno state, North East Nigeria killing unspecified number of villagers and burning down most of the village.
The attack according to reports is a clear act of wiping out the entire village as several of the villagers have fled the environment to Maiduguri the Borno State capital. The fleeing villagers said the Islamist militants had a free reign killing and maiming people randomly.
